Program Overview
"Give a Month, Get a Month Free"
The Little Miami Gig Referral Program ("Program") allows eligible customers to refer new customers to Little Miami Gig internet services and receive rewards when successful referrals result in new service installations.
Eligibility Requirements
Program Scope
- This program applies to residential customers only
Referrer Eligibility
- Must be a current Little Miami Gig residential customer in good standing
- If the referring LMG customer has an outstanding balance, the balance must be paid off first to receive their referral reward
- Referred customer(s) will still get their first month free, even if the referring customer is past due
- If the referred customer was previously an LMG customer, the account must have been inactive for at least 90 days (3 months) for both parties to be eligible for a free month of service
Referral (New Customer) Eligibility
- Must be signing up for a new residential service
- Must not currently be a Little Miami Gig customer
- Must not reside at the same service address as the referring customer
- If the referred customer was previously an LMG customer, the account must have been inactive for at least 90 days (3 months) for both parties to be eligible for a free month of service
- The referred customer must not reside at the same service address as the referring customer
- The referred customer’s reward will activate once they are installed and connected
How the Program Works
Making Referrals
Referrers can share their unique referral codes and links through:
- Email invitations
- QR codes
- Direct referral links
- Social media assets
- Other promotional materials provided by Little Miami Gig
Important: Referrals must use the referrer's unique code or link to check availability and complete their service request. Referral codes cannot be added to service requests that were initiated directly through the website without using a referrer's link.
Successful Referral Requirements
A referral is considered successful when:
- The referred customer accesses Little Miami Gig through the referrer's unique code or link
- The referred customer checks availability and completes a service request using the referrer's link
- Little Miami Gig successfully installs residential internet service at the referred customer's location
- The referred customer's service remains active for at least 30 consecutive days
- All eligibility requirements are met
Rewards Structure
Referrer Reward
- One (1) month free internet service credit
- Applied to the referrer's next monthly bill after successful referral completion
- Credit equals the amount of the referrer's current monthly subscription plan
Referral (New Customer) Reward
- One (1) month free internet service for their first month
- Applied as a credit to their first monthly bill
- Credit equals the amount of their selected monthly subscription plan
Reward Limitations and Restrictions
- No limit on the number of successful referrals per referrer
- Only one referral reward per new customer/installation address
- Rewards cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless specifically stated
- Rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold
Reward Processing and Timing
- Rewards are processed within 30 days after successful referral completion
- Referrer credits appear on their next monthly billing cycle after the referred customer's service has been active for 30 days
- New customer credits are applied to their first monthly bill
- Little Miami Gig reserves the right to verify all referrals before issuing rewards
Program Rules and Conduct
Prohibited Activities
Participants may not:
- Use misleading, false, or deceptive marketing practices
- Spam or send unsolicited communications
- Create fake accounts or referrals
- Engage in fraudulent activity of any kind
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Use the program for commercial lead generation without prior written consent
Fraud Prevention
- Little Miami Gig reserves the right to deny or revoke rewards for suspicious patterns, including but not limited to:
- Repeated service cancellations and sign-ups
- Multiple referrals from the same household or address
- Service usage patterns inconsistent with residential use
Marketing Guidelines
- Referrers may only use official Little Miami Gig marketing materials
- Cannot make unauthorized claims about services or pricing
- Must comply with all applicable advertising and communication laws
- Social media posts must include appropriate disclosures
Program Modifications and Termination
Little Miami Gig reserves the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time with 30 days' notice
- Change program terms, eligibility requirements, or rewards structure
- Investigate and verify referral legitimacy
- Refuse or revoke rewards for non-compliant activity
- Exclude customers from participation for violations
Account Standing Requirements
- Referrer and referral accounts must remain in good standing
- Accounts with past due balances are not eligible for rewards
- Service cancellation within 90 days of receiving rewards may result in reward reversal
Privacy and Data Protection
- Personal information shared through the program is subject to Little Miami Gig's Privacy Policy
- Little Miami Gig will only contact referred individuals who have completed a service request and provided their consent
- Any questions regarding referrals will be directed to the referring customer
- All data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws
Dispute Resolution
- All disputes must be submitted in writing within 60 days of the disputed event
- Little Miami Gig's decision on program matters is final
- Disputes are subject to Little Miami Gig's standard Terms of Service arbitration clause
Tax Responsibility
Little Miami Gig services are not subject to taxation. Participants should consult their tax advisor if they have questions about the tax treatment of rewards.
General Terms
- Program is void where prohibited by law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Ohio
- If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect
- These terms supplement and do not replace Little Miami Gig's standard Terms of Service
